CHum 2026 was held virtually at the 64th Annual Meeting of the Association for Computational Linguistics (ACL 2026) in July 2026. The workshop aimed to foster further work on modelling the processes of humor with current methods in computational linguistics and natural language processing, against the theoretical backdrop of humour research and with reference to relevant corpora of textual, visual, and multimodal materials.
